Since 2011, the studio is equipped with a desktop size 3D Printer. This simple yet powerful 3D printer gives us the opportunity to create prototypes in a very early stage. Model verification can be done earlier, more cost-effective and faster than ever before!
The maximum dimensions are approx 200 x 200 x 200mm. The print material is polylactide (PLA), a material derived from renewable resources, such as corn or sugarcane . It is biodegradable. A wide variety of colors can be printed.
The printer can run overnight. A webcam is available for off-site inspection and the software can be remote-controlled.
